YT40 Challenges

Take on the challenges that interest you and strive to achieve at least 40 points.
Challenges no. 5, 8, 10, and 12 can be completed in groups.
The points earned by all students in the class will be added to the class score for Principal’s Challenge.

1) I can cheer the YT40 Cheer.

6b) On one A4-size page, use words, drawings, poems, or lyrics in your Mother Tongue language, share how a person from YTSS has inspired you.

12) I initiate and complete a school improvement project (e.g., Adopt-a-Toilet).

2) I create a video on why I’m proud to be a YTzen.

7) I create a YT40 artwork.

3) I complete a social media challenge “40 Things I Like About YTSS”.

8) I contribute to my class’s “Book of 40 Stories of Kindness”.

4) I write words of appreciation to five non-teaching staff.

9) I create a poster to encourage schoolmates to eat a balanced diet. The poster should include key elements such as the My Healthy Plate concept, examples of healthy food choices, and a short message encouraging healthy eating habits among students.

5) I complete a 30-minute physical activity such as running, a workout, or playing a sport with a friend or family member.

10) I volunteer myself for a school event.

6a) On one A4-size page, use words, drawings, poems, or lyrics, share how a person from YTSS has inspired you.

11) I can lead the cohort/school in the YTSS school song or school rally independently.

All YT40 Challenge submissions are to be compiled digitally using Canva and uploaded to your class Padlet.

  1. Use Canva to create your submissions (e.g. videos, posters, reflections, artworks). You may combine multiple challenges into one Canva file or presentation.

  2. Ensure your work is clearly labelled with:

    • Your Name & Class

    • Challenge number(s) completed

  3. Upload your completed work (or Canva link) to your class Padlet under the assigned column.

  4. For non-digital tasks (e.g. appreciation notes, volunteering, physical activity), provide photo/video evidence or a short reflection on Canva before uploading.

  5. Ensure all submissions are neat, meaningful, and reflect your pride as a YTzen.
